The focus of the online BSN to DNP, Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree program from Brandman University is to prepare nurse practitioners to practice primarily with acute care environments, including intensive care units, emergency departments and trauma centers however this practice is not limited to in-hospital settings
This fully online BSN to DNP – Adult Acute Care Nurse Practitioner degree program focuses on preparing students to be eligible for the American Nurse Credentialing Center (ANCC) national certification examination.

Additional advanced skills are taught through a variety of simulated and clinical environments required for competence in a critical care environment.
The Adult ACNP program is delivered using a blend of: eight, 2-4 day immersion sessions at the Irvine campus; internships/clinical practice in hospitals, clinics and health centers near your home or work; and online lectures, demonstrations and exercises.

This program is designed for the registered nurse who is ready to take a leadership role in the professional clinical practice of nursing.
73 credits completed in 2 years full time or 3 years with a combination of part-time and full time study.
