Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice (Degree Completion)
Description
The main focus of Hodges University’s online Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice (Degree Completion) program is to provide a extensive online program that, through teaching and research, would support the criminal justice system, the agencies and personnel who are delegated the task of public safety and service.
The goal of this online program is to ensure that potential and current criminal justice personnel are given the opportunity to study the most thorough and up to day methods and policies that deal with administration, management, human resources, intelligence, terrorism, and cultural diversity.
The program has been designed in a way that will prepare students with no prior related work experience for entry level positions within the criminal justice system, as well as similar positions in the private sector. For individuals already a part of the criminal justice field, both sworn and civilian, this is a great program that will prepare individuals for middle and senior management positions, building upon previous experience and training.
The online Criminal Justice degree program has been developed around a basic core curriculum of required courses within the range of subjects applicable to criminal justice. Coupled with that each student will be required to complete a series of liberal arts courses to assure the broadest based educational experience and to support the general education goals of the University.
All applicants to this program must have a minimum of an associate degree or or its equivalent (60 semester college credits) from an accredited institution.
